Welcome to The Recovery Zone™, a unique guide to 12 step and Alcoholics Anonymous program information on the world wide web. This site features free access to The Audio Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous and was developed as an outgrowth of my own recovery.

Like many addicts/alcoholics, I lost almost everything important in my life, but have now recovered by working the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. If you have a problem with Alcohol, Drugs, Smoking, Compulsive Eating, Gambling, Sex, or other addictive behavior, I hope it will help you to find the help that you need to free yourself of these problems that now control your life. Substance abuse and Alcoholism can be stopped! Sobriety can be achieved!

While we cannot possibly cover all addictions or resources, most of the programs and information in this site are based on the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. When practiced with other recovering addicts, they offer a program of spiritual recovery that is proven to work.
